IBM RING 1 Board Meeting Online
Known in his magic circles as one of the greatest sleight of hand artists in the UK, and kicked out of the Magic Circle for breaking the code, Craig isn’t what you’d call an ‘average entertainer’.
Now a successful businessman, it’s purely coincidental that Craig’s biggest area of expertise is coin manipulation. The art of manipulating coins in fast and skilful flourishes has taken Craig years to perfect and shows the dedication that he and other magicians have in crafting their art.
Craig’s skills haven’t gone unnoticed. In 2009 he was described by Magic Week (one of the top magicians’ journals) as the greatest living coin manipulator in Europe! Magic Scene also awarded him the distinction of being "The Performer to Watch in 2009".
Craig is currently the co-host of the Wizard Product Review, the largest magic review show in the World.
Having created over 30 instructional DVDs on the art of magic, Craig’s tuition has been a huge hit worldwide.
Steve Finkelstein is a longtime member of three International magic societies, I.B.M., S.A.M., and I.M.S. where he earned his Doctorate in Magic. His electrifying energy permeates every professional endeavor and everyday life. He is the co-founder of Experience On Demand, which is publicly recognized as the Best Consultation Firm in St. Louis. In 2017 he was selected as "100 St. Louisans You Should Know To Succeed In Business."
Steve always infuses magic in his business workshops while developing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and execution. His career has led to extensive Domestic and International travel where he successfully incorporates magic as a universal language. Steve feels that prestidigitation is the perfect facilitation tool for engaging workshop participants, and it is also amazingly effective in strategic thinking and creative problem-solving. He has performed at numerous trade shows, happy hours and special company events for his clients.
Steve, a winner of numerous closeup magic awards, is extremely active in I.B.M. Ring 1, having served as Board member, event organizer, lecturer, and founder of Magic 101 … a recurring 30-minute session specifically designed to help beginners and intermediates improve their practical skills and theory. He specializes in gambling magic, mentalism, math magic, dice stacking and cards. Steve has a passion for helping nonprofits in developing their strategic plans and often donates his time entertaining at their fundraisers. “Creative Living Magazine” said it best … “Giving back is something that comes naturally to Finkelstein!”
Be sure to join us as we proudly showcase our hometown star on June 2nd. Steve’s lecture titled “Bar Bets, Cons, Swindles & Scams” will certainly have something for everyone to enjoy … and possibly employ … in a wide variety of social events. IBM RING 1 MEETING & LECTURE
Featuring: JIM KRENZ
Jim has been interested in magic since his fifth year. Fifteen of those years were spent working for Jay and Francis Marshall at Magic Inc. He regularly performed close-up at Schulien’s Restaurant in Chicago. In 1993, he won the Most Valuable Participant award at the prestigous FFF convention.
He has created over three dozen original effects and techniques, and has lectured about them in nine countries. Jim has studied with Ed Marlo, Jim Ryan, Tony Andruzzi, Don Alan, Eugene Burger, Slydini, Tommy Wonder and Juan Tamariz.
His lecture contains his original ideas, theories, routines and improvements in close-up magic. Focusing on close-up magic, Jim will teach his hands-off cards across (wherein themagician legitimately never touches the cards), his torn and restored card (called Rip-
per, described by Juan Tamariz as his favorite torn and restored card), his invisible triumph (this fools everyone!) and his version of wild card, which features his impossiblecard case load (called Imp-Load)—which is performed under the direct observation of
the audience.
Here is a quote from R. Paul Wilson about Jim’s Imp-Load: “I've been fooled badly
by this. My friends have been fooled badly by this. Signed card cleanly goes into thedeck, vanishes and appears inside the box that's in full view on the table. Highly recom-mended.”
Interspersed throughout the lecture are Jim’s theories on creating and performingmagic. Topics include participants preferred, making magic matter, the practice of prac-
tice and crafting creativity.
Also featured are his coins across (using his “one-behind principle”), his oil and wa-
ter (called NeoMix), Coincidencia (a coincidence routine with genuinely shuffled cards)and his handling of John Cornelius' Pen Through Anything, which elevates the routine
to the status of a miracle.

Along the way Jason will share some of his rock star stories about traveling, performing and meeting people!
“Jason's magic can raise even the most jaded eyebrows.” -Max Maven
“When I think of Jason's magic, it reminds me of a good tequila… smooth when it goes down but in the end you will get messed up!” -Nathan Kranzo
"I've travelled with Jason quite a bit, and have seen, close-up, what his magic can do to people. He gives the gift of love and magic to his audience - and that's a very powerful thing. Don't miss it - You'll be glad you came.” -Aaron Fisher
