Jim Creighton
Jim
has been involved in magic for about 60
years now, and he’s still performing the same tricks
he first learned – except that he was much better when
he was 10 or 11. One of his early favorites was that
Mysto Magic divination item that employed a human
hair, but he’s had to give that up now that he’s bald. Actually,
in the last few years, he’s been forced to learn some new
stuff, because his hands have decided to pursue their own independent
course. He is very grateful to guys like Jim Steinmeyer and Phil
Goldstein, whose creative minds have come up with
miracles that practically work themselves.
He was employed at the St. Louis
Post-Dispatch for 30
years, trying a variety of assignments ranging from
sports writer to the world’s oldest rock writer. When
he was features editor, he ran so many articles on
magicians that the managing editor finally ordered him
to clear them with him first.
He was once a board member of Ring 1, a position
he
found pretty boring, except for the evening when all
the board members got down on the floor at Harold
Theper’s house and Gene DeVoe taught everyone how to
stack dice, using an ordinary drinking glass.
In 1997, he received the IBM’s
award for being old– the Order of Merlin. His only concern
about that was that at his next national convention, he might have to
attend one of those tedious Merlin breakfasts.
Steve Epner
Steve Epner is a Computer Science graduate of Purdue
University who has used magic to help business owners better understand
how manage and structure
their operations. Magic is a wonderful way to explain complex concepts.
In May of 2007, Steve will receive his Master’s of Science degree
in Industrial Technology from Purdue.
Michael Henry
A full time magician, available for public, private and corporate events,
with extensive experience in close up, Street, Festival performances,
and “custom made” demonstrations in a variety of situations.
Michael Henry was born in the Midwest, lives in the Midwest and performs
all over
the world . As a result, his magic is not typical of the Midwest
. He has been a student of magic and Metaphysics for more than 30 years
and holds multiple degrees including a PhD in Communications. Dr. Henry
refers to himself as a “Wizard” rather than a magician. According
to Michael, “The difference between a Wizard and a magician is simple.
For example, when a Magician does a card trick you know that it represents
a display of incredible skill. When I use cards to support an experiment
or demonstration, there is a real possibility that something supernatural
has occurred.” www.michael-the-wizard.com

Believe it or Knot. Now you see it, now you don’t. It’s
MAGIC!
Ted has been involved in magic for 30 years. He is a member of the International
Brotherhood of Magicians Ring One in St. Louis Mo. Past president of the Society
of American Magicians Assembly # 8, in St. Louis Mo. He also hold the office

treasure of the Midwest Magic Jubilee held in St Louis Mo. One of his greatest
honors, he is a member of the Order of the Merlin in both IBM and SAM for 25
consecutive,
active years participating in the art of magic.
The type of magic he enjoys most is performing is what is known as close-up magic.
This is the type of magic that is performed one on one or in small groups, at
a cocktail hour or just after a dinner. Often filling time till the presentation
of the event begins. It gives a person a chance to see close up apart from what
they have become familiar with seeing at a distance. He also performs what is
known as platform or small stage show in which he does a variety of effects,
including audience participation.
If you have any questions please give him a call. Ted Schnarre 825 Norwich Dr.
