Many businesses attend conventions to update their employees with the latest and greatest new material in their industry. The Midwest Magic Jubilee was born in 1957 with the same concept in mind. The Jubilee is jointly operated by IBM Ring 1 and SAM Assembly 8 and is organized as a not-for-profit organization. The Jubilee lasts for 3 days, with 10 lectures, 3 public evening shows, a close-up competition, a stage competition, and 15 dealers of magic, each dealer specializing in a different area of magical props/apparatus. This is your opportunity to learn from other national, working professionals, and meet/greet other local magicians. The next Jubilee is August 9, 10, and 11, at the Airport Hilton Hotel, just across the highway from Lambert International Airport, St. Louis. A special room rate of $79 per night has been arranged for local and out of town guests. To participate in all of the events, you must register for the convention at:
